Is it possible to post items to nodalpoint using desktop clients like w.bloggar?
What is nodalpoint's URL for the supported API? (i.e. xmlrpc.php)
Finally, I would have put my post into the 'Using it' subcategory (below 'nodalpoint') since it doesn't fit into neither of 'Administration', 'Policy', 'Look and feel' nor 'Content'.

Yes. I haven't enabled Drupal's Blog API since nodalpoint was cracked via an XML-RPC exploit. This has been fixed so the API is now enabled again. The endpoint for the Blog API is:
http://www.nodalpoint.org/xmlrpc.php
Let me know if there are any problems. You can also add a short note on the wiki if you get it to work.
As for categories, don't worry to much about only having this post in the "Nodalpoint" category. I have never been happy with the idea of a fixed hierarchy of terms for posts, so I've been waiting for Drupal to have free tagging added into the core. Drupal 4.7 is due soon (it is at beta 2 currently) so I plan to upgrade when the final release is out and enable free tagging on all posts. Hopefully this will be better than the current situation.
