Hello again everyone, sorry for being away for so long. The short story is that the server hosting nodalpoint was compromised on the 11th of July. Since then various personal and practical issues have prevented me from getting the site back.
The main practical issue was hosting, as you can see this problem has now been solved for the time being. I will put together a slightly longer post with more details regarding the break in and hosting situation, this will be posted shortly. If you can't wait then you can find some of the nodalpoint regulars on the nodalpoint IRC channel (#nodalpoint on Freenode).

#nodalpoint on IRC is great for a quick chat. Bear in mind that the "regulars" live in the Asia-Pacific region (GMT + 10 hours for Sydney, Taipei is a couple of hours behind), so if it's quiet, it's because we're in bed.
I use the Debian/Gnome package gworldclock to keep track of what time where for various people; there are lots of similar packages.
