I am suresh kumar doing Msc Bioinformatics, Bharathiar university, coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.I have created website on bioinformatics.

Great site, though it would be better if it used W3 standards and was designed for all web browsers not just internet explorer.

Good to have links, but...

I like it when other people create large lists of links, because I can't be bothered to do it. Some comments and criticisms:

  • This probably deserves to be somewhere other than Geocities. I appreciate that you may only have access to a free web-hosting service.
  • The Home link in the main menu doesn't function (is not a link).
  • The links are not clear - they should be a different colour or style. Most people expect links to be blue.
  • You need to work on your stylesheets. In my browser, some of the pages look odd, e.g. the general links page has a mixture of fonts, some paragraphs have odd-looking coloured backgrounds.
  • Main problem with links is that they die. You need a system to keep track of deadlinks and update the list on a regular basis.

It's a worthy effort though, I give it a vote.

Informative title

Hi Suresh

I only just caught this in the queue, could you please post this link again with a more informative title than "bioinformatics website". I encourage people to post their sites to nodalpoint, but please make the post informative: what is you site about? Why is it news worthy?
