A new guide for those migrating to Linux as a research base. Everything you need to become comfortable in Linux. I suspect it's probably a worthwhile read for the more experienced but not LinuxGods amongst us (like me...).

not bad
Quite a nice guide, even with the occasional RedHat bias.
Anyone care to comment on pros/cons of webmin? Not something I ever considered.
webmin
Webmin is a great tool for some things - but I'd hesitate to reconmend it as a system administration tool for production-level servers.
It's great for simple administrative tasks on well known (ie, supported) applications. It can also usually handle cases were you hand-modify the configuration files yourself, in addition to webmin.
It does not, however, provide you with the full functionality that you may require for some applications. With an Apache server, for example, you may wish to have different virtualhosts defined from different configuration files - this is difficult to administer through webmin.
