Upgrading to Drupal 5.x and

Upgrading to Drupal 5.x and adding the spam filter module literally saved my sanity. What you don't see as a user of the site is the endless spam accounts and postings created. It is never ending, and as far as I can tell, not automated. The fact that it is not automated scares me in a loose-all-hope-in-humanity kind of way. What it means is that there are people out there who do nothing more than register for bogus accounts on sites like nodalpoint and then try to post spam; you can literally see it happen in real time.

Anyway, I'll try to tweak the word list in the filter, as it seems to have been skewed by one or two spam comments. So if your comment doesn't get through, don't be alarmed, I monitor the site daily and I will reverse it. In the mean time I've added some users to the trusted user role, this will allow by pass of the spam filter, and admin access to a few areas of the site (content moderation for example).

spam filter

The spam filter is really strong... it seems to block all the entries with too many blank lines.
Can you reduce it a bit?

It seems that search is broken on the wiki, something to do with indexing changes in the upgraded version. Added to the todo list...

Pretty smooth upgrade

Looks good on the whole, no issues for me. I also see the wiki TOC format problem. The wiki "recent changes" list is a lot shorter than it used to be (2 items), not a big deal.

The Drupal/dokuwiki login fix is great, we've needed this for a while.

Inline images

As you can now see, I have inline images working, at least for me. With the img_assist module installed, the admin page for setting permissions is not loading, rather when it does load I get nothing other than a blank page. This means that the permissions are likely not set for everyone to use the module. Which means you can still add images as first class objects, but the add inline image icon is absent from the content posting forms.

Working on it ... :)

archives

The archives were present at the test upgrade URL that you sent me. Perhaps they're just mislaid temporarily. It's the archive page that's not being found, rather than the archives (amounts to same thing, I know).

It seems that the archives module is no longer in Drupal, although I may have lost it somewhere in the new admin interface.

I'm still looking into search, it seams that either the site is taking a while to re-index, or the db upgrade did not work for search. Bear with me...

As for image uploads, I have this running on my development copy of Drupal, using the img_assist module.

Nice

I actually like the colors :) All nice and blue , relaxing. Clicked around a little bit and the archives are not available. I think picture uploads would be useful. Having a picture once in a while makes the site easier to read.

It seems that search is broken, I'll look into that tonight.

Looking good

All working fine so far as I can tell. Looks good and snappier too (for the moment at least!)

I guess the next task is to think about some exciting new features. Perhaps that's one for the new host.
