Rosie Redfield

Thanks Paulo. I liked this quote:

"The taxpayer pays for our work, and deserves to be able to see what’s going on. So I like to think of random people stumbling onto my blog and thinking “Hmm, so that’s what a scientist really does.”

sums it up nicely

Thanks for the kind

Thanks for the kind comments. I have two other names locked to new interviews: one is Jeremy Squire, from UofT and the other is Brian Golding from McMaster. I have a short list of other names that I am intending to "interview" and I will probably announce later to gather more names and questions. It would be great to have more people participating too and have some discussions afterwards.

I will post to the forum when I have something ready.

Great idea

Letting us know whom you might be interviewing and the kinds of questions you might ask is a great idea. John Battelle just did this and it worked out quite nicely

My Blog: http://mndoci.com

Of course, this should be on

Of course, this should be on the front page. The interview is really entertaining, and I think this kind of initiative deserves attention. One possibility you might consider is: announcing who you will interview next and solicit questions from the audience of nodalpoint and your blog (Slashdot uses this kind of model).

Forums were intended to be for announcements, software updates (like the recent BLAST update post) etc. which is why they are not moderated. They haven't been a huge success, but for the moment I'll just let them be and see how it evolves.
