If you're the kind of bioinformatician who is interested in using Grid or Web Services, then the Practical High Throughput Computing for Bioinformatics course held at Imperial College London, on the 16th to 20th July, would probably be worth attending.
This BBSRC sponsored course on BioGrids is a 5-day course covering the use of grid technologies and distributed systems in protein bioinformatics analysis, coming from the lab of Mike Sternberg. Wether you are mockney, cockney or just plain curious - you've got until Monday 9th July to book a place.
